Glory To God
I praise God for His deeds in the year 2007 who made me to glorify our Lord by doing the ministry with all your prayer support and financial support. I want to convey my thanks to all of you. I am writing a few matters in order to praise Him and to pray for.
Flood Situation: Khagaria
God had given me grace to help the people affected by heavy flood with the clothes and money sent by the believers of New Zealand and America. The people who received the aid are worshipping with fresh enthusiasm, so I thank all the people who prayed, sent, supported and encouraged. (Proverbs 19:17, Matthew 25:35-45, Hebrews 6:10)
Distribution of the New Testament:
God blessed us to go for carol rounds to 15 villages during the Christmas time. We were able to give sweets and 8000 Hindi New Testaments to the shop owners, individuals, a few officers and school children. On the Christmas day, God blessed us to give message to around 350 believers including children and adults and to provide meals to all.
Youth Ministry:
Thirteen young men from five places are going to attend a ten days Training Camp at Gems Mission in the end of the month. Kindly pray for them to return as Joshua and Caleb, and strengthen their fellow believers.
Film Ministry:
God blessed us to show the film about Jesus through TV in thirty villages, in the midst of many opposition in few villages. Pray to God that He may touch the people who had seen the film and for mini generator and LCD projector.
About the Graveyard:
We have no place to bury the dead believers. Last year three believers from our church died and their bodies were tied to stones and thrown into water. Otherwise they will cremate in the Hindu tradition. So pray for this problem.
First wedding:
Please pray for the marriage of Dilkush, our minister with Jothi from Maranatha Church on 23rd.
About the first church construction:
There is no church building here for our Mission. I praise God for the new Church going to be constructed 1 x b is 70 x 30. Pray for all the financial and material needs to be met.
About the three days convention:
We have decided to conduct a Revival meeting for three days from 21/03/08 to 23/03/08 for our believers. We have invited three preachers are coming from Gems Mission in order to give message. We expect about 200 to 300 believers will participate in it. Kindly pray for all its needs.
Prayer Requests - Pray For:
1. School New admission and development work.
2. New work place – Balia
3. For fifteen children who are going to take Baptism
4. For the permission of Jail Superintendent to give New Testament and Gospel to the prisoners in Kaharia Jail
5. We got 15,000 Hindi N.T. from Bible Society. Pray for us to distribute it properly.
6. For 2 sewing machines to train ladies of our church (foot machines Rs 3,000 [approx. NZ$91] each x2, 3 stools/1 table/etc Rs 2,500 [approx. NZ$76])
7. Pray for the health of Principal Ayya and his wife.
8. Pray for Punnia Devakra who dedicated his life for the ministry and went to Bible College for studies and for Krishna who would be going to study in Bible College in the month of June.
