Motorcycle Debt Paid Off!
Click
for Original July Appeal
Unfortunately, on their meagre income, the Marquiño family have been unable to meet any further payments against the 20,000 pesos (approx NZ$600) owing on their bike, due to be paid off during July. If payment deadlines were not met the motorcycle sales company would repossess the bike and all payments to date would be lost -
so we asked for your help...
You Raised $1,000 to help the Marquiño family get debt-free!
ACMissioNZ sent the donations to our Kiwi Missionary on the ground in Cagayan de Oro, Grant Aldridge, who has let the family know the good news...
Once the motorcycle is paid off the balance of the donation has been allocated "to be administered by Grant Aldridge, at his discretion, for special needs amongst OBC faculty or students."
Grant says: "This will be a great relief to the Marquiño family I am sure. It was a year on Monday 28th (July) that Rev Marquiño died. In the meantime please pass our collective thanks to those who have contributed so generously to this and the student/staff needs."
