October “EST” Update

Photo 1: In the picture is Christian Mission of Naratchakwai’s (CMN) youngest English Camp trainer – Tung. He’s just entered the 7th grade this year. Though he’s too short to reach the upper portion of the blackboard, he’s far taller compared to other students at his age as far as English learning is concerned. He’s regularly attending church for about 4 years now. Please pray for God to lead Tung to finally accept Jesus as His Lord and Savior.

Photo 2: Dr. John Middlewood - the busiest man of God in this part of Thailand who never stops helping others especially teachers, students, and schools, just that they may be uplifted morally… and of course, spiritually. This was taken during the opening of the English camp we had with the high school at Namoonhin on Oct. 9. Help pray for God to refresh Dr. Middlewood daily with wisdom and strength.

Photo 3: We call her Yee2 – the newest in CMN’s group of trainers. She’s now attending our church activities regularly. Please pray that the Words she’s been hearing from the church will actively work right through her heart and mind leading her to come to Jesus for her salvation.

Photo 4/5: The noisiest man in town. His name is Pomphan – a fine radio anchorman in Nakhon Phanom. He’s interviewing here one of our Namoonhin English campers and Yee1 – one of our camp trainers. Of course, Pomphan talked about the camp on his radio show the next day.

Photo 6: The latest of CMN’s activities – the Bible Camp we had on October 15 – 17 which taught and challenged the campers to “Dare to be a Daniel” (Camp’s theme). In two languages – Thai and English, the campers enjoyed learning about Daniel in the Bible.

And here is my requEST… please continue to pray for me here in Isaan specifically for God to ORDER THINGS for me as a Missionary, as a University instructor, and as an elementary teacher. Sometimes I’d ask myself… “How did I do all those things.” Secret?... GOD!

Pray also for Vivian’s (my wife) travel document to come out the soonest so she and Dada can finally join me here in Isaan. Pray for that Christian Vice Mayor who offered to help us to process the document the fastest way it could be processed.
